Hey everyone!
Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I played PWI for several years. I started out on Heaven's Tear, but moved to Dreamweaver when it launched and spent most of my days playing there. I love PW, but like many, I left when the cash shop got to be too much. It's a shame, because this is a great game and I have so many fond memories - made some great friendships. Aside from the cash shop and P2W crap, I wasn't a big fan of the content and mechanic changes that came with Tideborn and later. The classic feel of PW was the best. With that said, I came across a reddit post about this server and I thought I would check it out. I installed last night and played for a few hours... and OH MAN! The feels that came rushing in when I started running around City of Plume and hearing the ever so great music (By the way... I have yet to find any other game that even comes close to having as good of music as PW).
Anyhow, I have a few questions that I was hoping someone could answer for me (and I hope that this is an ok place to ask them).
1. What is the player-base/population like for both the low- and high-rate servers?
2. Kind of related to the first question... How difficult is it to find groups for FB, BH, and quest bosses?
3. I keep getting this little ad pop-up when loading into the forums about a promo code Start-The-Game... I cannot seem to get this promo code to work (says code not found).
4. How do I buy gold for the botique? When I click on buy gold it just takes me to an in-game browser with a dead page. To expand on the gold question... I have no problem donating and buying gold if the server is stable and has a decent population - and as long as the P2W crap from PWI doesn't leak over into this server.
At any rate... just being able to log in and see the classic PW and hear that sweet music was such an awesome moment that flooded me with emotion. I really hope that this server is a good one, because I would love to stick around and revisit this wonderful game!
