Things i would like to see in game

Since there are already a few 1.36 versions avaible, i hope you have some things ready to have people wanting to change to this server.

My ideas:

- Don't keep EXP gained from monsters and quests rewards at 1x like other servers. Nobody would want to level all over again with how slow it goes if they are already Lv.100+ on an different server. i would recommand 2x Exp from monsters and double all coins,exp,spirit rewards from quests. Or atleast 1 of these.

- Increase the chance to gain the item you need for your "Item quests" Nobody wants to kill monsters for hours when you just need 5 items droped from them.

- Keep up to date with the UI, so if possible use the newest UI (skillbar, inventory, friendlist, factionlist, character info looks) 1.36 version looks so ugly :(

- Head fashion

- Packs for newer kind of fashion, flyers, mounts etc (Higher rate to get socket stones etc)

We'll think about increased rates on the server release

I agree with this post, especially the rates part. I don't know why all servers follow this trend of either 1x rates or insanely high rates when it's obviously not working and only a few people play it until the server dies. Just because it's classic doesn't mean it has to be 1x rates. 1x rates only work if the game is brand new and there's thousands of players, the game wasn't meant to be played by so few. Less people = less items being farmed/sold = always high prices. So rates should be a little higher to compensate, but nothing crazy. I'd suggest 2-3x exp, coin, spirit and also drops.
I don't mind the UI though, I think it's nostalgic.

I'd suggest you to not change the exp gained from monsters to avoid players grinding to a higher level. 2 or 3x exp, sp and coins on quests would be perfect enough. This way players would run around doing qeusts together.

I'm not really familiar with the looks of each version. But i'd suggest to use the latest possible. All the other servers are using the standard 1.36 UI. Changing this would make your server more interesting to others.

2x exp, sp, coins is max I would recommend. No higher..game is working best at lower rates. Like i said it is designed to work like that. For quests...well in first 30-40 and maybe until lvl 50 quest exp is ok and you dont have to grind. Even better if you use 2x rates. If you ever played 1.3.6 youll remember atrocious grind for exp after lvl 50. So for quest exp I think it would be good idea to raise exp rewards in quests after lvl 50 or so. Just my 2c

The bad part is that with the 1x, not many will spend the time to grind out the levels just to be wiped after beta. ijs

With x1 exp you make sure that we will do every quest, if there's a improve in server rates then we won't be able to know which quests are actually bugged cause ppl will start to skip some quests. Better way to do in this beta phase is giving some charms/flyers to do those quests faster and not skiping them. Just my opinion.

Are you sure Beta players will do every single quest up to level 105? I am struggling with the few levels I have managed to get to, which is basically nowhere lol. Flyers may help with the monotony, who knows.

That's impossible, but at least fix all quests from level 1 to 70-80, the rest can be fixed after official release. After all it will take months and months to reach level 95+.

It's important to have a stable base, stuff like endgame gear and all can be tested after official release. If we wanna play a decent server with potential, then we have to be patient.

For the launch I'll be happy with the x1 rates on everything. It may take longer to to anything, but I enjoy the path ^^
Although I do think it would be interesting to have x2 during a few days sometimes... like twice a year :pigf:.
But that's just my opinion.
Another thing I'd like to see in the game when it launches are the coin fees to learn skills. I noticed that in open beta there are no fees and it does help the testing, but after launch they demand some extra planning and decisions on what to spend first... What can I do, I like this kind of stuff :pigchuck:

Maybe TW map should reset at 3 months instead of 6 ! This way all factions will have a chance to win some money for territories. As for exp, i would personally think x2 rates. Higher rates would make the game less interesting.
